A milestone has been reached – the first meeting in Sweden for Women in Green Hydrogen

Expectations were high and the discussions lively among the women who gathered for the first Swedish meeting within the Women in Green Hydrogen network. All with different backgrounds, but what they have in common is that they are all active in the renewable hydrogen industry. It was the visionary team at the energy company Lhyfe that hosted the meeting.

The purpose of the network is not only to make deeper connections, but also to inspire, share experiences, increase visibility and offer mentoring programs for women in the industry.

Through engaging workshops and insightful presentations by leading women in the industry such as Cecilia Wallmark from Luleå University, Kajsa Rytterberg-Wallgren from H2 Green Steel and Sara Wihlborg from Lhyfe, the gathering became a dynamic exchange of knowledge and inspiration. Each participant shared their unique journey.

The participants took on challenges with a desire to find common solutions to drive the industry forward. Plans are underway to produce a list of women interested in board positions to promote greater diversity in leadership positions. Discussions also revolved around inspiring the next generation of talent to join the hydrogen industry.

With the momentum created now, the conditions exist for the network to grow. The ambition is to arrange regular meetings, promote ongoing dialogue and offer opportunities for company visits.

A big thank you to Lhyfe for putting on a great event! We at Vätgas Sweden are looking forward to the next meeting!
