Norwegian Hydrogen får 9,2 miljoner euro från EU för grön vätgasinfrastruktur i Finland och Danmark

Vireon, a subsidiary of Norwegian Hydrogen and a leader in hydrogen fuel in the Nordics, has been awarded 9.2 million euros from the EU to pioneer green hydrogen infrastructure in Finland and Denmark. This is a significant financing for Vireon to build green hydrogen production and refueling stations for heavy vehicles in Finland and Denmark.

The project aims to build and implement a 5 MW electrolyser as well as a network of green hydrogen filling stations from northern Finland via Sweden and Denmark to continental Europe. Seven filling stations will be built in Finland and Denmark, which ensures wide availability for both passenger cars and heavy vehicles. This project is supported by EU funding through the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) and harmonizes with the objectives of the European Green Deal.
