I den nationella v\u00e4tgasstrategin fr\u00e5n Energimyndigheten st\u00e5r det att v\u00e4tgasen kan st\u00e4rka Sverige som f\u00f6reg\u00e5ngsland inom energi- och klimatomr\u00e5det samt bidra till fortsatta export- och investeringsm\u00f6jligheter och d\u00e4rmed tillv\u00e4xt och fler arbetstillf\u00e4llen. Energimyndigheten f\u00f6resl\u00e5r tv\u00e5 m\u00e5l: till 2030 ska det skapas f\u00f6ruts\u00e4ttningar f\u00f6r 5 GW elektrolys\u00f6rskapacitet (produktionsenhet f\u00f6r v\u00e4tgas) och till 2045 ytterligare 10 GW.
