En sektor d\u00e4r de bed\u00f6ms kunna g\u00f6ra stor nytta \u00e4r tunga v\u00e4gtransporter \u00f6ver l\u00e5nga str\u00e4ckor. Volvo Lastvagnar erbjuder idag batterielektriska lastbilar f\u00f6r att minska koldioxidutsl\u00e4ppen fr\u00e5n sina transporter. Men f\u00f6r att helt f\u00e5 bort utsl\u00e4ppen har Volvo utvecklat en ny lastbil med br\u00e4nsleceller, med endast vatten\u00e5nga som biprodukt.<br>Br\u00e4nslecellstekniken \u00e4r fortfarande i en tidig mognadsfas och samtidigt som det finns m\u00e5nga f\u00f6rdelar med den nya tekniken, s\u00e5 finns det ocks\u00e5 utmaningar. En av dem \u00e4r tillg\u00e5ng till gr\u00f6n v\u00e4tgas i stora m\u00e4ngder. En annan \u00e4r det faktum att tankningsinfrastruktur f\u00f6r tunga fordon till st\u00f6rsta delen \u00e5terst\u00e5r att bygga.<br><strong>\u201dVi f\u00f6rv\u00e4ntar oss att tillg\u00e5ngen p\u00e5 gr\u00f6n v\u00e4tgas kommer att \u00f6ka markant under de kommande \u00e5ren, eftersom m\u00e5nga industrier kommer att vara beroende av den f\u00f6r att minska sina CO<sub>2<\/sub>utsl\u00e4pp. Men vi kan inte v\u00e4nta med att g\u00e5 \u00f6ver till koldioxidfria transporter, tiden rinner ifr\u00e5n oss. S\u00e5 mitt tydliga budskap till alla transportf\u00f6retag \u00e4r att b\u00f6rja resan idag med batteriel, biogas och de andra alternativ som redan finns.
