Leveransen \u00e4r en viktig milstolpe i HYBRIT-samarbetet mellan SSAB, LKAB och Vattenfall, skriver Vattenfall i ett pressmeddelande.<\/strong><br \/>\nF\u00f6r att producera st\u00e5let fossilfritt, har kol och koks ersatts med 100 procent fossilfri v\u00e4tgas och levererats till den f\u00f6rsta kunden, Volvokoncernen.<br \/>\n\u2013 Industrin och framf\u00f6rallt st\u00e5lindustrin skapar stora utsl\u00e4pp men \u00e4r samtidigt en viktig del av l\u00f6sningen. F\u00f6r att driva omst\u00e4llningen och bli v\u00e4rldens f\u00f6rsta fossilfria v\u00e4lf\u00e4rdsland \u00e4r samverkan mellan n\u00e4ringsliv, akademi och det offentliga avg\u00f6rande. Det arbete som g\u00f6rs av SSAB, LKAB och Vattenfall inom ramen f\u00f6r HYBRIT driver p\u00e5 utvecklingen av hela industrin och \u00e4r ett internationellt f\u00f6red\u00f6me, s\u00e4ger n\u00e4ringsminister Ibrahim Baylan i ett pressmeddelande fr\u00e5n Vattenfall.<br \/>\n<strong>FAKTA\/HYBRIT-projektet<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HYBRIT-initiativet startades 2016 av de tre \u00e4garna SSAB, LKAB och Vattenfall.<\/li>\n<li>Med HYBRIT-initiativet avser SSAB, LKAB och Vattenfall skapa en helt fossilfri v\u00e4rdekedja fr\u00e5n gruva till f\u00e4rdigt st\u00e5l, med fossilfria pellets, fossilfri el och v\u00e4tgas. Confidentiality: C2 \u2013 Internal<\/li>\n<li>Pilotanl\u00e4ggningen f\u00f6r testproduktion av j\u00e4rnsvamp i Lule\u00e5 togs i drift 31 augusti 2020.<\/li>\n<li>Den 24 mars 2021 valdes G\u00e4llivare som plats f\u00f6r den planerade demonstrationsanl\u00e4ggningen f\u00f6r produktion av fossilfri j\u00e4rnsvamp i industriell skala. J\u00e4rnsvampen anv\u00e4nds f\u00f6r att g\u00f6ra st\u00e5l i n\u00e4sta led.<\/li>\n<li>I maj 2021 p\u00e5b\u00f6rjade HYBRIT bygget av ett v\u00e4tgaslager i pilotskala i anslutning till pilotanl\u00e4ggningen f\u00f6r direktreduktion i Lule\u00e5.<\/li>\n<li>Hybrit\u202fDevelopment\u202fAB\u202f\u00e4r ett forsknings- och teknikutvecklingsbolag som kommer leverera l\u00f6sningar\u202ftill anl\u00e4ggningarna. Teknik-utvecklingen sker i n\u00e4ra samarbete med \u00e4garbolagen.<\/li>\n<li>St\u00e5lindustrin i v\u00e4rlden st\u00e5r idag f\u00f6r 7 procent av de totala globala koldioxidutsl\u00e4ppen.<\/li>\n<li>Fossilfri j\u00e4rn- och st\u00e5lproduktion med HYBRIT-teknik, motsvarande dagens produktionsniv\u00e5 f\u00f6r SSAB, kommer att kr\u00e4va cirka 15 TWh per \u00e5r.
